Pumpkin Patch and Carving

Today was the day - Blake went to 2 pumpkin patches today. He went on a field trip to one and they were able to paint a pumpkin, ride on a hayride to see all the animals on the farm then they played games. I picked him up from school and forgot that Halloween is tomorrow so I took him to another patch to pick out our pumpkin so we could take it to Nana's and Papa's to carve. I have done this the last 4 years but I thought Papa could have a turn this year.......I won't mention that I'm dog tired with all the hours I'm putting in with the election just 7 days away.......So here are some pics - Enjoy......

Game Day

Well another game went by and Blake was the "goalkeeper" is what he calls it. I really think I need to work on his skills........But we still won......

A saying for the day.....

Men are like...

1. Men are  like ...Laxatives   .... They  irritate the crap out
       of you.
2. Men are like.Bananas .......  The older they get, the less
     firm they are.
3. Men are like  .....Weather .  Nothing can be done to
      change them.
4. Men are like Blenders   You need One, but you're not
      quite sure why.
5. Men are like  ....Chocolate Bars  . Sweet, smooth, & they
     usually head right for your hips.
6. Men  are like .. Commercials  ....... You can't believe a word
        they say.
7. Men are like Department  Stores ... Their clothes are always
        1/2 off.
8. Men  are like ....Government Bonds  .... They take soooooooo
       long to mature.
9. Men are like  ....Mascara . They usually  run at the first sign
       of emotion.
10. Men are like Popcorn .... They satisfy  you, but only for a
       little while.
11. Men are like Snowstorms  .. You never know when they're coming,
   how many inches you'll get or how long  it will last.
12. Men are like .......Lava Lamps  . Fun to look at, but not very bright.

13. Men are like Parking Spots All the good ones are taken,  the rest are
     handicapped.

Game Face

Well here he is.........my soccer son.........We had our first game last week and lost 2-3. Yesterday the Dragons (that's what his team is) played in the rain and won 2-0. Blake was right in front of the goal and had a perfect set up and missed....awwww we are getting closer to his first score.......Great Job Dragons! Good Luck next week!
