First Time Ever

This was my first time ever that someone broke into my car and stole something. WHY??? Plus it happened right in broad daylight at my work. All the other cars was there but WHY mine?? They knew what they wanted - they only stole my briefcase (which had stuff in it) and it happened around the 4:00 hour - super crazy.... So I had to go round and round with glass company's because they busted out the rear passenger door window so hopefully that will all be done today....URGH - some people have NO RESPECT!!!!

"Football is here"

This is my favorite time of year (besides summer sitting by the pool). Being a retired football coach's daughter I have learned a few things down the road about football. High school pratices have started so my daddy picks up my son now and takes him to different pratices. I love it! My brother is deep into pratice as well. He is a junior college football coach. Very anxious to see his games as he plays a few here in the valley. Friday nights are completely booked now that football season is here. My daddy, son and I head to the game of the week that he thinks. Yay! ! ! Very excited! !

It's looking like we will be up for the next 48 hours working out all the kinks. The countdown has begun....Cross your fingers that it will be successful ! ! !

So much going on...

Oh my goodness so much going on and I'm treading water......Tuesday is the biggest fund-raiser I have been involved with we have the Vice-President in for the guest speaker and it's been crazy. I have to work all weekend to finish up all the details that the Advance team is requesting. It'll be a great event but there is so much work to be done....YIKES....

Then my son is heading to school on Monday. Now there is no turning back....He will be a great. So off to buy new sneakers, back-pack etc... It's just mommy who has the issue. He's growing up!!

I have never had to be on a schedule since he was born. I usually work from home in the mornings and then head into the office. But now he HAS to be at school by 8:30. YIKES that means I have to use an alarm clock and wake him up. I have never had to wake him up - he has been a little spoiled - but he has never slept in past 7:30 - but now it'll proably be a struggle since it's a have to now...Oh well....This is what mommy hood is all about.

Then we start soccer.......look out......I'll be a soccer mom! I can't wait ! ! ! I didn't want to start him when he had no clue about sports now - he is all over them. I have him in Karate as well.

Well - I need to head into the office - Yes it's Saturday but duty calls on the fund-raiser.....

PS - they think the rapist moved out of state.....I think that is a ploy for him to make a mistake and our law enforcement will catch him.....:)

Big News today!!

Big news for Phoenix and Phoenix area - but it's not the one I was worried about - we need the Baseline Killer/Rapist behind bars.... The snipper was hitting from 11:00 pm - 4:45 am so it was in my mind but far from it even when they came into my city Mesa. But the Rapist is still hitting around my office/work. Now that these idiots are caught all the task force of 250 officers are now on one case on not two - GREAT JOB PHOENIX PD, MESA PD, SCOTTSDALE PD, ATF, FBI etc.....

Serial Shooter Arrested

(08.04.06) — Phoenix police have arrested two men police say are responsible for the serial shooter cases. Six people were killed and 17 others were wounded in the random shootings that began in May 2005. A-T-F also is linking the two suspects -- 33-year-old Dale S.Hausner and 31-year-old Samuel John Dieteman -- to arson fires June eighth that caused ten (m) million dollars' damage to two Wal-Marts in suburban Glendale. Police investigating the Serial Shooter cases say they identified Hausner and Dieteman Monday night as the suspects they were looking for. That was the night after the latest killing linked to the Serial Shooter. The victim, a 22-year-old woman, was shot to death while walking near her home in suburban Mesa -- about three miles from the apartment where Hausner and Dieteman were arrested. A second serial predator that Phoenix police are hunting is the Baseline Killer. He's accused of murdering seven women and one man and sexually assaulting eleven girls and women since last August.

Joke of the Day

Old Woman Fights Back

An old woman is riding the elevator in a very lavish New York City Office Building. A young and beautiful woman gets into the elevator and smelling like expensive perfume turns to the old woman and says arrogantly, "Giorgio - Beverly Hills, $100 an ounce!"

The next young and beautiful woman gets on the elevator and also very arrogantly turns to the old woman and says, "Chanel No. 5, $150 an ounce!"

About three floors later, the old woman has reached her destination and is about to get off the elevator. Before she leaves, she looks both beautiful women in the eyes, bends over, and lets out a most foul-smelling fart. She leaves the stunned women in a cloud of funk, saying "Broccoli - 49 cents a pound."
